We are a student institution at the Leuphana University Lüneburg. Our community consists of students from different courses of study at the Faculty of Education, Economics and Political Science! We represent student interests in the chair, institute, faculty and dean's office. We also promote the exchange within the student council, as well as the exchange with other student councils and universities. You also have the possibility to become part of the departmental group representation (FGV) or to get involved in different divisions. Basically, you always have the opportunity to contribute your ideas. We always look forward to creative input. You are welcome to bring in and implement your own ideas and projects. If you want to be part of the student council, please contact us. We will find a place for you and look forward to meeting you!

During the semester, the student council meetings take place every second week, Wednesdays at 18:30. This semester, the meetings will initially take place only in presence, in lecture hall 4. In case of illness, a zoom link can be requested.

The meetings are open to the public. You do not need to be a member of the student council.

Online-Exams

The State Data Protection Commissioner has issued a paper on digital exams in November 2021.

In summary it stated:
1. the student ID card or an official photo ID may be used to establish identity.
2. video surveillance is normally only permitted as overview surveillance - not as individual surveillance.
3. a so-called "room shot" of the camera is not permissible in normal cases.
4. video recordings are generally not permitted!

(as of 11/2021)

Withdrawal is possible until the start of the examination. If you are quarantined by order of the health department or "voluntarily", you do not have to appear for the presence examination.
So if you go into quarantine at short notice, your non-appearance will be considered as a withdrawal. You do not need to submit proof of this.

For technical concerns and questions regarding online exams, you can contact the student support team (stud.digi-support@leuphana.de).

Under this link you can find a handout for students: "Participation in online exams with EvaExam" https://www.leuphana.de/fileadmin/user_upload/portale/lehre/02_Lehrprofil/02_Digital/01_Dokumente/Handreichung_Stud_Eva_Exam_Klausur.pdf.
For the examination with EvaExam, it is recommended to use the browsers Chrome and Firefox only.

In case of technical problems (or other difficulties) try to document the course of the exam as accurately as possible, e.g. with screenshots.

++ If you have further questions or if you feel that students are being discriminated against or that unfair demands are being made, you can contact the AStA (buero@asta-lueneburg.de), us (die-fachschaft@leuphana.de) or your FGV. We will try to help you as fast and as good as possible!

You can also find more detailed explanations of the examination regulations on the AStA website.
