Info & Registration

Ersti-Tage are events organised for you by the respective student representatives. The aim of the Ersti-Tage is to network first-semester students. The shared experience of the Ersti-Tage creates many lasting contacts. To find out more about the programme, you can find more information below.

The Ersti-Tage 2023 will take place on 28-29.10.2023.

We, as student bodies, work on a break-even basis - so there is no financial benefit. Your added value is to get to know many people in 2 days and to organise an event together that brings us together as a student body.

Yes, that is possible. You can find the respective option as a selection option in Microsoft Forms.

Experience shows that there are always more applications than places available. The good news is that we find a suitable place for about 70% of the applications. We want to know qualitatively who our helpers are, so that we can get a picture of you and thus respond to your needs in the best possible way.

For a successful application, you need yourself first and foremost. We are looking for charismatic people with a strong sense of responsibility. The (+ pts.) are application points that you can collect. The points are a guide for us in the selection process. They are not a criterion for exclusion. Please answer questions honestly and truthfully - otherwise embarrassing situations could arise in the selection interviews. We want to avoid that.

Here is a checklist:

  • Helpers/Tutors Application submitted
  • Participated in selection meetings shortly after sending the application
  • Tutor contribution transferred
  • Sign the disclaimer/data protection and send it by e-mail.
  • Attended the helper/tutor briefing.

The Ersti-Tage are organised by 4 different organisational teams, led by the board of the BEM.There is the role of the "Head of ..." to relieve the board on both days of the event.
The exact title and responsibility you will take on will be explored in a personal conversation with you if you are eligible for such a role.In order to make decisions, you will be given guidelines in advance and will have to make decisions at your own discretion.

At the end of the registration, you can save the answer in your connected Microsoft account.Go to forms.microsoft.com, log in and click on "Completed forms". There you have the possibility to revise your answer until the application deadline - for example, if you want to enter a partner for the bed exchange.

The application must be received by the application deadline. If you have been actively (!) involved in the organising team, we will clarify this privately.

That can happen from time to time.We expect at least timely feedback from you as well as active engagement in the coordination of appointments. If this does not happen, we reserve the right not to employ you further. We need reliable people who know what tasks and decision-making powers they have.

If we have not already contacted you, please send us an email to die-fachschaft@leuphana.de.

We expect you to work independently and to act as part of a team.If necessary, contact the responsible "Head of ...".

The three dots behind the title already indicate that it is still open - you are the joker with regard to one aspect. There is the role of the "Head of ..." to make critical decisions so that the Orga Team or the Board can stay in contact with the first-year students. In order to be able to make decisions, you are given guidelines in advance according to which you make decisions at your own discretion. The exact name and responsibility you will take on will be discussed with you personally. We need to be able to trust you to solve problems that arise in a structured way and with a cool head.

Where can I find a code of conduct regarding the wearing of first-year shirts, dealing with sponsored items, awareness, first aid, statements regarding the student council, do's and don'ts?

  • Where can I find a code of conduct regarding the wearing of first-year shirts, dealing with sponsored items, awareness, first aid, statements regarding the student council, do's and don'ts?, which can lead to a negative appearance.
  • Just like our T-shirts, sponsored items have an external effect. We ask you to treat the material and food with care. We work hard every year to build up good sponsoring contacts and want to maintain these in the coming years.
  • As organisers, the student councils work hard to provide the best possible experience. If something doesn't go perfectly, forgive us and put in a patient word with our first-year students.
  • A no is a no. Respect the boundaries of others and look out for each other!

Please send an email as early as possible to die-fachschaft@leuphana.de with information about your name, day of deployment and deployment activity. We will try to mobilise reserves.

The least demanding option would be to network with us and spend some time in the community. You can check these and other dates on a daily basis via our calendar on our website https://diefachschaft-bem.de/.
To start working in a unit (Referat), it is helpful if you have already made contacts.

Feel free to send us an email or contact us privately. We will help you to overcome the bureaucratic hurdles of a grant.

Please write an email to die-fachschaft@leuphana.de so that we can compensate for your absence in the helper/tutor planning.

  • The general rules for first aid apply: first self-protection, then help.
  • Secure yourselves and then the accident site. After that, it is important to assess whether first aid via the first aid kit (= basic equipment of every station) or whether the emergency call 112 must be dialled. The rule here is: "Caution is better than cure!
