Klausuren WS 2021/22 – Mailvorlage für digitale Klausuren

Liebe WiWis,

der ASTA hat die folgende Nachricht an die Student*innen versendet. Ihr könnt die Mailvorlage verwenden, wenn ihr euch digitale Klausuren aussprechen wollt.

Dear WiWis,
ASTA has sent out the following message to students. You can use the mail template if you want to speak up about  digital exams.

„Hallo ihr Lieben,
bis diesen Freitag, den 21.01., haben die Lehrenden Zeit zu entscheiden, ob sie ihre Prüfungen in Präsenz oder digital stattfinden lassen. Unser Wunsch als Studierendenvertreter*innen ist es, dass möglichst viele Prüfungen digital (bzw. in alternativen Formaten) stattfinden, da es in einer Präsenzprüfung bei den aktuellen Infektionszahlen ein erhöhtes Risiko der Ansteckung gibt.
Wir haben in den vergangenen Tagen viele Bedenken und Ängste in Hinblick auf die Klausurenphase wahrgenommen – das ist total verständlich und berechtigt!
Deshalb haben wir eine Mailvorlage für euch vorbereitet, die ihr gerne so oder ähnlich an eure Dozent*innen schicken könnt. Falls ihr anonym bleiben wollt, sendet diese bitte mit der entsprechenden Angabe zur Lehrveranstaltung an die zuständigen Studiendekanate.
Die Studiendekan*innen und ihre Mail-Adressen findet ihr unten in dieser Mail.
Alternativ könnt ihr natürlich auch direkt in den Lehrveranstaltungen mit euren Lehrenden ins Gespräch kommen und eure Bedenken mitteilen.

Mailvorlage an Lehrpersonen:
Liebe*r Herr*Frau X,
ich schreibe Ihnen in Bezug auf Ihre Veranstaltung mit dem Titel XXXX.
In der Mail des Präsidiums vom 14.01. bittet die Hochschulleitung alle Lehrenden bis zum 21.1. zu prüfen, inwieweit die Durchführung der Prüfungen in alternativen Formaten (z.B. online) möglich ist. Aufgrund der hohen Inzidenzen in Lüneburg (heute 566,7) und Hamburg (1055,8) und der erwartbaren hohen Zahl an Quarantäne-Fällen möchte ich Sie daher bitten, Ihre Klausur nicht in Präsenz, sondern digital durchzuführen. Laut aktuellen Prognosen wird die Inzidenz im Verlauf der Omikronwelle bis zu den anstehenden Prüfungen nochmal steigen.
Aus diesem Grund habe ich große Bedenken, mich dem Risiko einer Präsenzklausur auszusetzen bzw. erst gar nicht an der Klausur teilnehmen zu können, weil ich ggf. als Kontaktperson oder selbst infizierte in Qurantäne sitze.

Ich und meine Kommiliton*innen freuen uns, wenn wir mit Ihnen dazu in den Austausch treten können.

Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren,

Hello dear students
Until this Friday, January 21, the Professors have time to decide whether they want their exams to take place in presence or digitally. Our wish as student representatives is that as many exams as possible take place digitally (or in alternative formats), as there is an increased risk of infection in a face-to-face exam given the current infection figures.
We have noticed a lot of concerns and fears regarding the exam period in the past few days – this is totally understandable and justified!
Therefore, we have prepared a mail template for you, which you can send to your lecturers in this or a similar way. If you want to remain anonymous, please send it to the responsible dean’s office with the corresponding information about the course.
You can find the deans of studies and their email addresses at the bottom of this email.
Alternatively, you can of course talk to your lecturers directly in the courses and communicate your concerns.

In the mail from the Presidential Board dated 14.01., the university management asks all teachers to check by 21.1. to what extent it is possible to conduct examinations in alternative formats (e.g. online). Due to the high incidences in Lüneburg (today 566.7) and Hamburg (1055.8) and the expected high number of quarantine cases, I would therefore like to ask you to conduct your exam digitally rather than in attendance. According to current forecasts, the incidence will increase again in the course of the omicron wave until the upcoming exams.
For this reason, I have great concerns about exposing myself to the risk of an in-person exam or not being able to participate in the exam at all, because I might be sitting in Qurantine as a contact person or even infected myself.

I and my fellow students would be happy to discuss this with you.

In the mail from the President’s Office dated 14.01., the university management asks all teachers to consider the possibility of conducting exams in alternative formats (e.g. online). Due to the high incidences in Lüneburg (today 566.7) and Hamburg (1055.8) and the expected high number of quarantine cases, I would like to ask you to talk to Mr.*Mrs. X and to work towards having the exam conducted digitally instead of in person. According to current forecasts, the incidence will increase again in the course of the omicron wave until the upcoming exams.
For this reason, I have great concerns about exposing myself to the risk of an in-person exam or not being able to participate in the exam at all, because I might be sitting in Qurantine as a contact person or even infected myself.
I and my fellow students would be pleased if you would support us in this matter.
